It’s a nice feeling when you find like minded people and an inclusive environment isn’t it? In the past year of my creative journey I have been lucky enough to have found a few of these on Instagram. Strange that I should find it on social media of all places, considering that I am not a huge fan of “Social”.
There are ample creative spaces out there on the web and in real life, but these days (with Covid) it is nice to have one within arms reach anytime you like. The downside is It’s been a journey of trial and error in trying to discern the “fakes” from the “authentic” people. Some groups just want followers while others truly just want to be engaged, provide inspiration and promote creativity.
One such authentic group is the team over at Creatively Squared. Through them I have grown as a creative and regularly participate in their challenges. When they approached me to be featured on their website and social media platforms I was stunned and honoured. The interview and article were well done and I couldn’t be happier to share it here on my blog.
